Commercial Resident Shellfish License
To obtain a Commercial Resident Shellfish License, you must have completed 8 hours of seeding with our Shellfish Warden or our Shellfish Chairman.
Note - If you are over the age of 65, you are not required to complete the 8 hours of seeding.
To apply for a Commercial Resident Shellfish License, download the Commercial Resident Shellfish License form and return it to the Town Office with the designated fee.
Commercial Resident Shellfish License Fee: $202.00
Commercial Nonresident Shellfish License
Nonresident Commercial Shellfish Licenses are issued by a lottery, which is held in the last week of June.
Note - The number of Nonresident Licenses the town may issue depends on the number of Resident Commercial Licenses we issue, as follows
- First Nonresident License after 6 Resident Licenses sold
- Second Nonresident License after 4 additional Resident Licenses sold
- Third Nonresident License after 10 additional Resident Licenses sold
To apply for a Nonresident Commercial Shellfish License, download the Nonresident Commercial Shellfish License form and return it to the town office.
Nonresident Commercial Shellfish License Fee: $402.00
Recreational Shellfish License
Note: If you are over the age of 65, you can receive a Complimentary License for a $2 fee.
To obtain a Recreational Resident Shellfish License, download the Recreational Resident Shellfish License form. For a Non-Resident Shellfish License, download the Recreational Non-Resident Shellfish License form and return it to the Town Office with the designated fee.
Recreational Shellfish License Fee: $12.00
